Octane rating is the measure of a fuel's ability to resist knocking. The higher it is, the less your engine knocks. Super grade gasoline is 98 RON, while racing fuel has a octane number as high as 116 RON.
Mix the 122 RON methanol with high grade gasoline can create an equivalent to racing fuel, but more convenient in practice. If you fill up your tank with racing fuel, you burn it and consume your money all the time. But if you fill the methanol in a separated tank and only use it when you need it, you can get what you want in a much more sensible way, obviously.
cool down at highest efficiency
There are many ways to lower the intake temperature, for example use an intercooler or a methanol injection system, which is especially important for a turbocharged engine. When you upgrade your car with a larger turbocharger, the stock intercooler won't be enough. Now you're in a dilemma: you want to exchange it with a larger intercooler, but are hesitate for the foreseeable turbo lag, due to the longer fill-up time.
On the contrary, methanol injection system don't have such drawbacks. It's direct; it's fast; and it even cools down the intake air while easing the turbo lag in the same time.

Coordinating multiple injection sets for operating flexibility
For cars output more than 500 horsepower, you normally need two sets of pump and nozzles, instead of upgrading them with larger ones. Two sets of pump and nozzles provide the possibility of more precise injection control at partial load, and enough fuel supply when the car is at full load.
VAITRIX MWI system can control and coordinate two sets of pumps and nozzles on heavily modified cars. You can install smaller-sized nozzles in the intake ports to provide precise injection and install larger-numbered nozzle in front of the throttle to ensure total injection volume.

3D Mapping Control ensures performance at high RPM
Most MWI systems available in the market control volume of injected water/methanol mixture only based on the boost pressure. This is a simple but not perfect way to control the injection volume.
To draw out the full potential of an engine, injected mixture should be in proportion to the intake airflow. At low to medium RPM, boost pressure is relative to intake air flow. But, when the engine is running at high RPM, its boost pressure is dropping. This creates a problem that the engine couldn’t acquire enough fuel to keep it going by traditional method.
VAITRIX MWI system adapts a more advanced way of injection control. With our 3D Mapping Control technology, the system judges how much methanol it should provide based on the engine RPM and boost pressure. This results in performance improvement across whole RPM range.

Asynchronous pump and valve control for timing precision
MWI systems from the other makers mostly send signals to its methanol pump and injection valve solenoid at the same time. This brings a problem that it takes time for the pump to build up the pressure, so the injection is not precise as expected.
On the contrary, VAITRIX MWI system controls its methanol pump and the injection valve solenoids with different analog outputs. This enables the system to keep a time difference between activation of the pump and that of the solenoids. The injection pressure can reach it expected value immediately when the valve opens.
User can also adjust the length of the time difference through VAITRIX AirForce ONE software utility, to fit in varying tubing length of different car models.
